Uggs "classic" vs "essential"

This is for someone who knows about Uggs please.

I've never had any but I was thinking of ordering these:

But then found these:

And I can't quite work out the difference to week the two versions other than the colour of the lining.

The classic ones are more expensive but look slightly nicer! Are they just a newer version?

One is the traditional suede finish and the other is leather. So depends on the look you want.

Also the leather pair says water resistant.

They both say they are leather. That's what confused me!

They are both leather but different finish - one is a bit shiny, the other is suede feel. I've had loads of Ugg's, love them. Definitely recommend getting some waterproofing spray and renewing it from time to time.

So which is which? The more expensive one is the smoother leather finish I'm guessing?

I v nearly ordered the other pair last night and then found the others today and was well and truly confused by it!

Classic and essential have completely different soles. The essential have a more gripping sole but reviews say that its slightly more of a narrow boot.

I used to wear uggs all the time 10 years ago , I know wear them as slippers ! So warm!
Anyways the sole is completely different , the first pair has a more outdoor tread and the second is the original tread which is smoother !
Get waterproof if you can , the original ones ( now slippers after being washed ) are no good for wet weather at all!

Hi did you see how different between essential and classic yet?
I want to buy it but I’m really confused
