Bicester village

I finally went back to Bicester village to buy my shoes (previous thread trying to choose between manolo and Valentino)
The shoes I wanted had been sold - however did manage to get some classic flat pumps from manolo blahnik
I was only there for a few hours and just wanted to warn others planning a visit that a lot of the shops you have to book in advance to enter using a QR code system - you then get a time slot or text message when it’s your turn
Saved me a fortune as quite a few shops I wanted to visit couldn’t offer me a slot soon enough (on way to somewhere else)
Thankfully most of the shoe shops weren’t as busy

Thank you that has saved me a trip . I like to go along one side from the top end and then along the other side and home . I can’t be doing with time slots an zig-zagging.

I went last month.

I got there just before 11am when it was a bit quieter and was able to pretty much walk into all the shops I wanted to (other than Gucci, which has a queue, but I didn't particularly want to go in anyway)

By about midday, it was heaving and what's when the time slots were implemented.
