Help me find a coat please

Hi all,

I'm in need of a warm, waterproof winter coat.
I would like it to go with most outfits so maybe black in colour??
It needs to have a hood.
I'm willing to spend a bit so that its warm, waterproof and lasts.

Everything I have seen so far just looks frumpy and not at all stylish. I'm quite style concerned and like to think I dress well.
I have a couple of coats I love such as a pink Ted Baker one I wear to death but they are not at all practical.
I'm getting soaked on the school run and I was freezing cold when I took my toddler to the park today and realised my coats are all style over substance.

Can anyone suggest something stylish and practical please.

Have you looked at Seasalt? They may be too frumpy but they're definitely waterproof. They're about £150. Alternatively, the North Face, don't know how much, but more than Seasalt.

I've just bought a planthunter coat from Seasalt. It's very lightweight but lovely and toasty and touch wood, I've stayed dry while walking the dogs in the mornings even in a downpour. It has a waist toggle so it's not too shapeless.

Thanks just had a look at seasalt, I like the plant hunter coats especially the midnight coloured one. I also liked some of the other colours but better not add them to basket aswell 😊.
