If DH likes Jo Malone Ginger & Nutmeg

Would Lush Ginger make a good Christmas gift?

I know it's JM is still available to buy but he's taken 4 years to finish 40ml so I'm not wasting 100ml it'll be like vinegar before he gets through it.

Any other suggestions I could look at? Likes spicy and clean, not smoky or overpoweringly musky.

Sorry I can't answer your question but is JM ginger and nutmeg really still available? I haven't been able to find it for ages and thought it was discontinued. I love it!

Hi! Perfume blogger here. Try Roger et Gallet Eau de Gingembre. It's gorgeously refreshing with a hint of ginger. And by the way, if he keeps his fragrance out of sunlight and heat it should last years.

Sniff before you buy but you could try Chanel Egoiste (not Egoiste Platinum). It's clean and spicy, very lovely (IMO) with a hint of cinnamon although it's not nutmeggy or gingery.

JM Nutmeg and Ginger has been discontinued now. I think JM (the organisation) are phasing out all of JM (the person)'s original scents in favour of their own new ones -- presumably they don't have to pay her for the licensing or something.

Thanks @MissBattleaxe annoyingly M&S seem to have stopped stocking it. I'd like to sniff first ideally.

Maybe get him to try Eau d' Iparie at L'Occitane . It's a sheer green spicy incense and is similar in feel to Nutmeg & Ginger. I love them both.
I use The Roger & Gallet Gingembre at the same time as the Jo Malone to refresh the top notes of Ginger after a few hours, when I'm left with just the Nutmeg.
Yes, the 100 mls bottle is currently available on the website.

If he really likes JM Ginger and Nutmeg and it's being discontinued, I'd buy him the big bottle. If it's stored well away from heat and light it should last for years.
