Silk hair scrunchies

My hair stylist told me that one of her clients had recommended silk hair scrunchies, but she couldn't remember where they'd been bought from.
Anyone tried these?
Would need to be a big scrunchie, I think, as I have lots of hair to hold up (extensions).
Maybe I wouldn't then need to use a dozen hair clips as well ,as I do with the scrunchie that I currently use.

Asos had some a while back not sure if they are big enough for you though

swimster01 · 09/10/2020 12:23

I don't like them, they fall out easily

AriettyHomily · 09/10/2020 14:07

Wouldn't during the day but lovely at night to not get strangled by the hair. They fall out easily.

I use the Slip ones - they hold a high ponytail well but my hair's long and fine although there's lots of it.

Coffee4Queen · 09/10/2020 14:27

Etsy will definitely have some

I've got the Slip ones in my basket on the cult beauty website.
I'm dithering, because it's £39 for a pack of three large scrunchies Shock

I make and sell them amongst normal. Unsure if I can share a link but www.scrunchieclub.co.uk

I'm tempted by these since I've seen they are in a few advent calendars this year

I was looking on amazon last night and there are some cheaper versions that look ok

I think the Slip ones are actually silk whereas they cheaper ones aren't so it's not so it's not simply the brand but I'd happily try the cheaper ones

These are not scrunchies - silk hair 'bands' - I bought in early July them after seeing them on Good Morning. There are 6 in a pack. They don't fall out easily. I've still got five of them left and my hair is so much better.

Boots and new look have satin scrunchies. I feel they do make a difference compared to normal hair ties (invisibobbles etc). Very inexpensive too. The boots ones are designed for usage during sleep.

My hair is fine, but they stay in place well.

I also ordered the Slip skinny scrunchies, will report back to let you know if they’re worth the cost!

I love mine. They're really easy to make. Just pick up a silk scarf from a charity shop & make your own

TheseAreTheRichesOfThePoor · 10/10/2020 14:39

Thank you so much. I only set up the business last week so every order is making me grin like a Cheshire Cat 😂
