Black trousers with pockets

I’m starting a new job soon and need some smartish clothes. I want some comfortable black trousers that have decent pockets in them as I hate not having my phone on me.
I’ve lived in jeans for years so I have no idea where to start! Please help!

Depending on your shape and the shape of trousers you're after, there are multiple places you could try of course but personally all my best work trousers are from Cos. They're well-cut, great quality and last brilliantly (there's a navy pair I've worn about 100 times in four years that still look perfect).

Otherwise Uniqlo always with a look, very well-priced too.
