I've just got a new job but I'm over the moon about after 10 years out of the workplace but it's quite a corporate office and bar the one outfit I've been wearing to interviews, have literally nothing to wear and it's a full time role so need at least 5 outfits I can put together. For interviews I've been wearing black 7/8th (long cropped semi fitted) with tucked in cream silk blouse and leopard print stilettos (gorgeous but not something I can wear all day and possibly a bit racy for the office Grin) and a camel coat. I also have an old but still looks good black Jagaer wool wrap coat and a few decent leather handbags all from my previous corporate days so cant do without those thank goodness.

I like the ease of dresses and generally suit belted knee length as I have a good waist but not great legs, reckon another blouse or top I can wear with my existing trousers, another pair of trousers (long wide leg?) and a jacket with proper cami under for meeting etc. Any suggestions? Online preferred as I cba/haven't got time to trawl round the shops especially when you can't try on. Budget is limited so thinking more warehouse than banana republic on the high street but having lived in jeans for the past decade this is all a bit alien to me and need to look polished ConfusedGrin

John Lewis is a good starting point, plus they have a personal style edit thing you can complete and it gives you example outfits for different occasions, work, casual etc

Agree look at John Lewis. For nice blouses H&M have some good quality cotton blouses this season with slight puff sleeves or larger collars. It’s the kind of thing I’d team with smart trousers and heels if I was in the office.

Massimo Dutti have some great stuff right now.
You can get some nice dresses with Hush which can be worn with a jacket and dressed up.

Don't know anyone who is going into the office right now, never mind wearing corporate clothes

Uniqlo do fine knit merino wool crew necks in a range of colours. £25, I think. Look great tucked into trousers/skirts, under a blazer or not. Statement necklace if that’s your sort of thing.

Uniqlo great in general for work stuff.
