Boot help please

I've worn Fly London boots for years, but fancy a bit of a change. Thinking of biker style, I ordered the Orinoco Spice from Clarks in brown and black. I'm now not sure which colour I prefer or whether I actually don't like the oiled finish and want to go for something with a smooth/polished finish. I will wear them with tights and dresses/sweater dresses or skinny jeans.
Would really appreciate thoughts.

Oooh they're both lovely. I always think brown dresses down easily then black tends to look smarter.

It's so daft I wouldn't normally be so indecisive. I think the same, black seem slightly smarter. I have a pair of black Chelsea boots with a slight (chunky heel) which might fit the smarter bill, then I could keep the brown ones for now casual. Although I think I really like the black... ho hmm, I'm over thinking

i have the black and they do sort of go shiner as they get worn, i do really like them too they're super comfy. (did you get them from the outlet as they're 43 on there)

No I did not get them from the outlet.

Thank you though, I've now explained that the brown ones will be my birthday present from my family, I will be returning the black ones and ordering the slightly older but cheaper version from the outlet, as a present to myself. Yay!

they were £48 in the outlet and i put them in my bag, but they sent me a 10% extra off an hour or so later to make 43 :)

@nitgel they didn't seem to have the orinoco spice but I picked up the orinoco hop

I see you have already made your decision, but I was going to say that they are really nice boots and I like the brown slightly better. I think it's easier to wear brown boots with black clothes (unless they're very formal) than black boots with brown or softer colours. But if you can have both, that's even better!
