I have this dress and would love to wear it in winter and was thinking of a long sleeve polo neck to go a bit 70's with it. But I need one to be very thin fabric as I am currently going through "is it warm in here or is it me?!" so any recommendations?

I don’t think a polo would work with that dress. Why not try a sturdy bolero / tuxedo jacket. Damsel in a Dress do some good ones.

HATE boleros! Really do :o

Its casual, so I want a polo with long boots for winter.

H and M usually have thin polo necks. That dress would work with a sleeveless polo neck too.

I really think it's to dressy a dress for wearing something underneath. It's the handkerchief hem maybe.

I have very fine knit merino polo necks from Cos and Other Stories which might suit, but per pp I am not sure they would work with this dress.

Uniqlo heattech polo necks are ultra thin and stretchy and really designed to go underneath things.

Sorry I agree with other PPs too floaty/summery/dressy for turtleneck underneath. A long lined cardigan or blazer would work better.

I do agree with you, baleros are dreadful.
