Cosy, luxury pyjamas

Two holidays cancelled this year and now looking forward to a week in a Scottish Highland cottage. If I was going to buy myself luxurious pyjamas, where would I go?

What's your budget. I've got a couple of pairs from Toast.

Fivemoreminutes1 · 07/10/2020 06:10

I like these hush ones www.johnlewis.com/hush-klara-star-print-jersey-pyjama-set-midnight-gold/p5151892

I’ve got one pair from each of Derek Rose, Desmond and Dempsey and Piglet in Bed. They’re all really nice. The Derek Rose and Desmond and Dempsey are a bit more stylish but the Piglet ones are lovely material.

ooh - thank you.

I'd be paying this out of saved holiday money so budget up to £100? Needs to be natural fibres.

Are silk pyjamas cosy enough?

These are pretty but not so cosy.

I like those JL ones

ouch321 · 07/10/2020 19:20

Silk is thin no, OP?

I would have thought you'd want something warm as it's turned chilly and will be more so, so far north.

I think OP was asking about silk pyjamas after PP suggested them
MrsPworkingmummy · 07/10/2020 19:32

I don't think you can go wrong with thick 100% cotton jarmies from Boden.

LiveFromHome · 07/10/2020 19:38

DH bought me some silk pyjamas and they're nice for summer, but not cosy at all, you'll freeze in them in winter.

Love those hush PJ's linked up thread, I'm going to order them. I can highly recommend this dressing gown - it comes back in stock and sells out again really quick!

feesh · 07/10/2020 19:43

These are lovely too - Hush flannel is gorgeous www.hush-uk.com/astrid-flannel-pyjamas-navy-gold-star/001645-1659.html

LadySeaThing · 07/10/2020 19:53

I have a cashmere leggings and hoodie set from white stuff that is the ultimate in cosy pjs. Expensive but they were significantly reduced in sale. They're from a few years ago but you can get similar from H&M here and there are various others around in sales / on ebay to suit your budget.

OllyBJolly · 07/10/2020 20:02

ooh Hush ones are nice.

Has anyone heard of Yawn - these are cute

clumpysoles · 07/10/2020 20:06

I've recently bought from here and they're lovely quality

MassDebate · 07/10/2020 22:26

Stripe & Stare - honestly the softest things you’ll ever wear. I bought one of the sweatshirts and wear it as casual wear but it’s loungewear technically, which is just another name for posh pjs really. Well worth the money and v cosy.

Stonecrop · 07/10/2020 22:41

Yawn are nice, they have different cotton textures eg cosy or smooth depending on your preference

OllyBJolly · 08/10/2020 09:35

@Stonecrop What's the sizing like? I love the print so that is a strong contender.

The other one I'm now getting FB ads for is this one british-boxers.com/products/womens-pink-tartan-pyjama-set?variant=6917654085684&fbclid=IwAR3X8LRcJHPIaowaoc3LP3VldsNnWN1OHTX0LR49fC5A09BKRGFhqRF15co

Anyone used British Boxers?
