I've been flailing around trying to find the Holy Grail of coats - something that looks smart (say with black skinnies and Chelsea boots) but that is warm, and has a hood for those miserable school run afternoons.
I have a wool All Saints coat that is lovely and warm, but no hood. I have a Barbour with a hood, but it's a battered wax jacket so not exactly tidy looking anymore. I have a Burberry mac with a hood, but it's not very warm!
Has anyone found THE coat, the one that will get them through winter toasty, dry and reasonably put-together-looking??
