Long sleeved tee

I'm a stay at home mum, live in jeans as I walk the dog daily. At this time of year I really struggle to find nice long sleeved t shirts. I've looked at white stuff, Boden and John Lewis and Gap.
Can anyone suggest any where else please? Happy to pay about £30 and want stripes, or bold colours not too many logos and no frills!
TIA

Uniqlo?

mynameiscalypso · 06/10/2020 12:13

I buy most of mine from primark - I really like the slouchy ones.

GreyishDays · 06/10/2020 12:13

I’d love to know too. I’m struggling to find T-shirt’s that aren’t grey, black or pastel. Or pissing ‘blush’.

Seasalt
Boden

You need to order two sizes larger, not smaller. A US 6 is a UK 10 ( a smallish 10, but Land’s End are reasonably generous.

BoreOfWhabylon · 06/10/2020 15:02

Eh? If you're a UK 10 then you need a US 6-8 so order smaller than UK size, surely? Confused

I quite like M&S ones

pictish · 06/10/2020 17:47

Seasalt. You can buy two long sleeve Bretons for £40 (normally £30 each) - good colours. Lovely soft, robust organic cotton.
Just bought four for work. They’re great.

Whatthebloodyell · 06/10/2020 18:05

I like the John Lewis long sleeved t’s.

Potionqueen · 06/10/2020 18:23

Also recommend Seasalt. I’ve just received 2 long sleeved striped tees. Beautiful cotton.

QuantumGirl · 06/10/2020 18:31

Whistles cotton pocket tops are a bit pricey but really lovely. I bought two recently and will get another if/when they go into the sale!

ErrolTheDragon · 06/10/2020 19:34

I'm wearing a long sleeved Landsend T now - they're very good for petites too. Sleeves and body which are the right length.Smile

IndigoApple · 06/10/2020 21:07

I second Joules. Just bought 2 long sleeved Next tops and 2 Joules (all from Next website so free delivery to store). The 2 Next ones are both going back, very thin material and one of them smells weird! 2 Joules ones cost a bit more (£23 and £25), but are good quality (and both stripy!).

pictish · 06/10/2020 21:43

Have a cracking striped top from Next...the colour was brilliant and it fit like a glove. Sadly the quality just isn’t there and a few months in, the elbows have worn through. Shame.

On the subject of Next...what is with their ‘designers’? Their clothes are so weird. They look ok from across the shop but when you pull something out for a look it will invariably feature some godawful design feature that renders it unwearable.
This striped top was an exception. I loved it.

Snappyteabread · 06/10/2020 23:08

Over the years I've bought many tops: Gap, M and s, Fat Face but I always go back to Primark. The ones they gave folded up on tables. I have them in about 15 colours. I wear them pretty much every day as I like the fact they are a good neck and for and wash well. Think something like £3 each. I have a photo of me in one with my newborn which id been wearing for at least 2 years prior that and through pregnancy. My newborn is now 10! I noticed today there are some holes under the arm but with 12 years of regular wear I'm ok with that. (I also rate their £1.80 vests which I've also worn every day since I developed a bump when pregnant and wanted to not have gaps. Continued throughout breastfeeding and still wearing every day now as I hate there being a draught and gap between your trousers and top. )
