Face Base - Alternative to Bodyshop?

9 replies

Vinosaurus · 05/10/2020 08:37

I've used Bodyshop All In One Face Base since I was about 16 (now 42!), but recently decided to move away from it, mainly due to Bodyshop's lambasting of JKR.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a powder compact which works as a light foundation and powder all in one?

Hi OP, did you ever find anything? Am in same sort of situation! Thank you.

Yes! I just recommended one on the discontinued thread (I stopped using face base when they discontinued my shad - I now use Superdrug MUA pro base compact. It's also cheaper!

Has anyone found a good way to buy the correct shade online?

@baffledbyworksheets

This is brilliant. Thank you all.

Has anyone found a good way to buy the correct shade online?

there are sites online where you can put in what foundation you currently use (brand and shade) and will then tell you your shade in a different brand but not sure if it stretches to powder foundations

Sorry, can't do a clicky link but findation.com is a good one.
You can enter several brands/shades that you currently use and it gives a good list of alternatives
