Warm nude socks for work trousers

I’m not quite ready for boots yet! Are there such things as warm nude socks? I have some nice new loafers, v shiny, but my toes are cold! I’ve found 40 denier pop socks from John Lewis - but will they look odd (and more importantly warm!).

I know! I have had my boots on a few times.

I think nude socks look odd, I mean pop socks aren’t great either but I sometimes wear them. Pop socks do help a little versus bare ankles and feet and a frosty morning.

The youngster don’t seem to care and wear patterned and fluffy socks but I can’t pull that off.

Plenty of lovely socks about. Doesn't need to be nude. Have a look at COS and Toast for inspiration.
