Dungarees

I'm a little, fat old lady (50, size 14) but have just bought these dungarees in black. I really like them. Has anybody seen any nice tops for wearing under them? I want something fairly fitted, that isn't plain black (have got lots of black tops already).

I often wear a Breton stripe tops under my Fatface dungarees. Also from Fatface! Totally middle age middle class mum look though...

I love those dungarees. I like to wear blouses under dungarees or tops like these

Nowt wrong with dungas with striped top. If I look like a middle aged mum in mine, I’m perpetrating a fraud, otherwise I’m ok with that as a look

I have just embraced the mime artist look or 70s kids TV presenter. I wore a pinafore to a work event recently and my colleague told me I looked like a minion 😂

I prefer block colours to stripes with my dungarees. My approach is to go to Primark and see what long-sleeved T-shirts they have in my size. I usually manage to find 3 or 4 acceptable colours.

I've got thin polo necks in black and grey which will go with them, but was hoping for something a bit more interesting (for an excuse to buy something new!). I've also got long sleeved tops in red and burgundy, which I think will probably work.

Link didn't work at all! It's this one I linked to but they have a few I think would look lovely with dungas.

I just saw an advert for a nice Toast high neck blouse, and I thought that might look nice under dungarees. But it's £145!
