Emma Willis Didrikson-inspired coat from Next

What do you think of this coat? I covet a similar one from Didrikson at £400 plus for school runs and bus commute but can't justify the price:

I'm size 14, 5'6. Has anyone else tried it or a similar look? This is definitely Didrikson inspired isn't it, even down to the half-down hood styling.

I keep wondering about getting this coat to help me survive the boys football matches this winter. But at 5'4 I worry I might look drowned by it! Interested to hear from anyone who has it!

Just to add, Emma could make a skinned porcupine look fabulous, so I'm under no illusions.

I haven't tried this coat but anything else I've bought from that collection, I've returned. It looked great on the website but the fabric has been unexpectedly cheap and nasty in person. It's worth trying the coat on but my guess is that there's no warmth to it.

I bought it yesterday. I absolutely love it but at 5’5 it’s a bit long - it ends half way down my calf. I think I’m going to return it and order the petite version. Hope that helps!
