What tights when black opaques don't go?

What to wear with lighter coloured skirts and dresses, to wear for a bit longer with a cardigan or jumper, but now that it's getting cold?

Yes grey are quite versatile. I love snag tights nice fit and fun colour range.

If black looks too much, then I usually go for gray. I can’t imagine a world where I would ever wear cream or skin coloured fishnets!!

Thanks for ideas: I like the sound of grey tights.

I like nude tights and wear them loads as I don't like bare legs (looks great, I just don't like how it feels).

But they have to be thin, preferably matte (or look like bare skin) and have the right shade to avoid looking off.

I remember when cream fishnets were all the rage. I don't think we're there yet.
