Warm and water proof coat for pear shape

I have been looking for a mid length coat for dog walking, school runs etc, needs to be waterproof, breathable and warm (bonus would be a hood which folds into collar).
I like the look of various Didriksons coats but fear the shape and cut of them would be extremely unflattering on my very pear shaped body (5'6"), size 12-14 upper body but big bum and bigger hips / saddlebags.
I think the longer length is the unflattering aspect so maybe I'll have to accept wet legs!

The Rain range at Seasalt. I've got an almost knee length one I think is called Plant Hunter, and inside are cords so you can pull the waist to be more fitted.

Thanks for the suggestions, I've ordered a couple of Seasalt versions and will return one of them. Was delighted to learn that they are offering 25% discount to NHS staff so that clinched it as I did wince a bit at the price!
