Black cord jeans?

I'm looking for some black cord jeans.
Full length, not skinny, straight leg but generous on calf.
Like a really comfy pair of jeans.
The ones I've googled that I like the look of are these
www.prettylittlething.com/black-cord-flare-jeans.html
But they are probably poor quality and size wise... Who knows?
Can anyone recommend a similar shape but more reliable size and quality as I'm hoping they last a few years.?
I'm quite a straight shape (in hips, stomach and waist..) with generous calves

M and S have cords. In about five colours.

Rollerbird · 03/10/2020 10:12

I've tried m and s previously and they weren't like a 'jeans' cut. Plus the calves were still tight.
Will try again though

If i did try the pretty little thing ones would you advise to size up? Or get my normal size?

Have you looked on ASOS? They've got a few styles, I've found their denim to be decent quality and they do waist size/leg length like jeans so you've got more chance of them fitting!

Uniqlo?

these

MaryLennoxsScowl · 03/10/2020 12:44

I have the ASOS ones linked above and really like them. They get baggier with wear and are properly high-waisted.

I love M&S cords. But I've heard very good things about topshop - here

Rollerbird · 03/10/2020 13:29

I'm veering to the asos ones @marylennoxsscowl what size did you get vs your normal size? I'm an 8 and would have got 26 but the suggested size is 28?

I’d say they’re on the big side. I’m anywhere between an 8 or 10 in Zara, Topshop, etc, so ordered both sizes and the 8 fit better. They also do free returns so you could always try both if you’re not sure!

JaneJeffer · 03/10/2020 14:27

Monki have some.

Yorkshirelass04 · 03/10/2020 14:28

White stuff are all about cord trousers

LunaNorth · 03/10/2020 20:12

I just ordered some from Monki!

Rollerbird · 03/10/2020 21:15

The monki are cropped which I didn't want. I ordered the asos.

They won’t be cropped on me - I have legs like a pit pony Grin

Glad you got sorted.
