Smart joggers? Where can I find some?

I’d like to find some navy smart joggers style trousers that are a bit on the smarter side (so no jersey fabric). My mum bought a lovely tapered pair in a sort of shimmery fabric from M & S last year but they don’t seem to be doing them this year.

I have an active 14 month old and I’m doing lots of classes with her so I need something practical and comfortable (plus I’m still carrying some extra baby weight) but I also want to look smart-ish. Anything I can dress up with a smart t-shirt and leather trainers.

Oh wise style and beauty MNers, please let me know if you’ve seen any that would fit the bill!

MeandEm have this sort of thing.

TheMildManneredMilitant · 02/10/2020 17:07

I have a few nice pairs from Hush. Also rate their 'Monaco' trousers which are jogger style but smarter fabric.

LeaveMyDamnJam · 02/10/2020 17:09

Zara have some nice joggers.

Google magic pants... best ever!

Dorothy Perkins had smart grey joggers; they may have navy ones too.

Hurryupbaby11 · 02/10/2020 18:19

I've recently bought some from Next which are so comfy and great for throwing on for the school run or when doing classes with baby. They can easily be dressed up or down and come in navy (and lots of other colours/patterns) www.next.co.uk/style/st345473/549830

Although just noticed they say Jersey in product description so might be totally wrong.... Blush

White Company
All my Hush joggers have lasted two minutes, they look scruffy really quickly

LoveEatYoga · 02/10/2020 22:02

Those next ones look nice

I second Zara!

Try the sale section of websites like JL. I got some whistles ones there last year for less than £20 but they had loads from brands like French Connection, Ted Baker and those type of brands

gavisconismyfriend · 03/10/2020 05:50

Saint and Sofia might be worth a try

Tootytata · 03/10/2020 06:17

TheIckabog · 03/10/2020 11:01

Yes I had a look at MeandEm. I’d like some joggers that I don’t need to remortgage my house for! The

@gillybobs, what's the sizing like on those joggers? Ta.

Gillybobs · 07/10/2020 14:54

Like all Boden I'd say they they are true the size verging on generous

LoveEatYoga · 07/10/2020 16:16

I like those Boden ones too

I might have to add them to the list of items I want to get myself for Christmas!

@Gillybobs do the Boden ones get knee imprints quickly? I hate it when trousers do that!

Gillybobs · 07/10/2020 17:12

No they are a crepe fabric so don't get all the issues you get with jersey (saggy knees and arse 😂), more expensive but worth it imo

MountainDweller · 07/10/2020 17:44

I have straight legged ones from M&S with zipped pockets and a false seam down the front - I don't think you'd know unless pretty close that they are not 'proper' trousers.

I used to buy lovely smart joggers from Fat Face with a slight boot cut but they don't make them any more Sad

Lands End slim leg Starfish pants are nice thick material and imo comfortable and smart enough to wear instead of trousers (caveat - mine are a few years old now so don't know if quality has gone downhill).
