Moustache

I am Indian and have medium coloured skin. I have had laser treatment on my moustache in the past but due to hormonal changes as I get older I seem to be now getting a shadow. The problem is there doesn't seem to be very much hair on the top – it seems to be under the skin – but it really shows up when I use a bright lipstick. Have any of you dark skinned ladies had this problem and have you found a solution? Thank you

Hi OP, is it definitely hair that is causing the darkness? I have melisma around my lips and it looks like a 5 o'clock shadow unless I take care of it.

I'm white but I also have darker skin on my top lip, it's like my lip colour is spreading. It's due to sun damage as I live in a hot country and go on lots of holiday to sunny places. Best thing for it is strong sun screen and a cream that lightens age spots etc.

It's definitely hair - and definitely hormonal. I have PCOS and was warned it might come back - might have to learn threading

Hi, I’m white but have very dark hair and PCOS. How long ago did you have it and might you need a top up?
I had mine 8 years ago and do need a top up, as there is very slight regrowth but nowhere near the amount I started with.
