Just that - I’m on the hunt for a new mascara. Always worn Clinique High Impact which is not bad but reckon there could be better out there.

I don’t want waterproof as I prefer it to come off when I wash my face rather than having to use eye make up remover, plus I only wear it on top lashes so smudging isn’t an issue.

I’m not after a false lash effect and really want to avoid anything at all spidery or clumpy. Basically I just want my lashes but darker and maybe a little bit thicker!

Thank you oh wise S&B people

I've just swapped to an Avon mascara after using Estee Lauder for years. My SIL started an Avon business and bought me one to try and prove it was just as good - and I agree. It comes off easy and doesn't clump. Also, it just has a normal brush compared to some of the ridiculous shaped ones I've seen!
This is the link I use to get it:

Maybelline Lash Sensational, it's only just over a fiver on amazon and really good for the price. Most mascara smudges on me, this one stays put all day

I've used Rimmel volume flash x10 for absolutely years (the one in the red bottle) it's the only one I find goes on well and isn't dreadfully thin like others I've tried and it builds well. I usually get it on 3 for 2 in boots and pay around £12 for the 3 lasting me a few months.
