Inspired by the thread about style and beauty on a tight budget, what do you think are the key things to do if you don’t have much time?

This is me and I do hair colour (at home so I can squeeze into a convenient slot but essential as so grey Sad), blow dry three times a week, eyebrows (just plucking luckily don’t need to dye) and basic make up. Capsule wardrobe. Run once a week. I did laser hair so don’t need to spend much time on hair removal. If I had a little bit more time I would do nails (at home) and more exercise plus fake tan on legs in summer. I should prob drink more water. I basically don’t know how to buy clothes except my capsule uniform or how to do proper make up so not sure I will ever have the time to do that Confused I never really go to a salon.

What are your thoughts?

IME the more you invest in yourself the more time you will save on a day to day basis- think water, exercise, skincare, proper nutrition and vitamins. e.g. if your skin looks good, not much makeup is needed. If you are toned, most clothes fit well.

Also, I think there are things that we have made ourselves do for no reason whatsoever. No legislation to do fake tan or paint nails or wear makeup. It was quite liberating for me when I stopped wearing foundation a few years ago, I actually didn't really need it
