Does it hurt? I'm thinking about have my eyebrows done but I don't do well with pain. Although I have had Botox on my crows feet and that stung like a bitch.

Hi, I’ve had my eyebrows done and they do use numbing cream. For mine which I’m not sure if it’s the same as others but they go over each brow 3 times. The first couple don’t really hurt but the third does start to get sore. I love mine though so was worth the uncomfortable feeling towards the end

Agree with the previous poster. I had a mix of microblading hair strokes and powder brows to fill gaps /shade. The brow strokes hurt a lot. They had to use tons of numbing cream but it was actual agony and i felt every slice towards the end, which was quite torturous. However, they did say my skin was very resistant, so it may not hurt as much for other people.

I took ibuprofen before my top up and it was less painful, but they also did fewer hair strokes at that point as that wasn't very effective on my brows so they stuck more to shading.

Having said all that, i absolutely love the finished result and will definitely go back when i need them topped up.

I love mine Op and will continue to get mine done, they do fade in time and don't look as dark as they do when you first have them done, they do hurt but I'm a wimp

This was my second go too, my eyebrows were nearly half as good as my before picture when I first had them done.

I have mine done with a nano needle and with the numbing cream it's ok, hurts a little but no more than say electrolysis

mrsmcwrinkly · 02/10/2020 01:34

Does powder brows hurt?

Figgyboa · 02/10/2020 02:07

Got mine done and love them. More irritating than painful, they do sting a little when they wipe off the ink with antiseptic. You should be given numbing cream to put on before and they will also use numbing cream

If you're afraid of the pain, have you considered eyebrow lamination? The hairs lay very flat after so you can sort of put them where you like to cover gaps.
