Leather leggings

Looking at investing in a pair of leggings. I am size 12 pear shape. Any suggestions? Have heard good things about Hush and Baujken.

I wouldn't "invest" in leather leggings. It's a very dated thing now. Buy a cheap leather-look one and have fun with it for a season. If you are into leather, maybe leather trousers would be better.

I genuinely think all women should wear what makes them happy.

But damn, leather leggings rarely look good.

Hi, I got some from Zara that were lovely. Just pleather ones. Or these ones are super comfy (they are thin though so I wouldn’t wear them without something covering my bum

The Spanx ones are good , but leather look not leather. Not sure if you want actual leather.

I think mine look good, 😂 I wear with a pair of white trainers and a long top.

I second the PP who said save your money. They are beginning to look a bit dated. I went through trying loads of different pairs but they all made my legs look like badly made sausages.

If you’re minted I’d buy a pair, otherwise fake it for a season.

They were a fashion lesson for me a couple of years ago - marketed as a classic ergo I should spend money on them but they didn’t suit me and now they can look dated, not classic.

I love the coated black 'jeans'. I don't really wear leggings but the skinny jeans are basically just leggings with zips and pockets. I have some from river island and next - both lovely dressed up or down

I second mint velvet. Leather effect not leather. £25. I wear them all the time!

Agree - buy pleather. I wear them with Nike hi-tops and oversized shirt or sweatshirt. I do not wish to emulate Towie! Dresses down and I buy a size too big so they’re not skin tight. I like them to be wrinkled above the trainers.

Baujken ones are lovely and better quality than Hush. I've navy and black and they've lasted years and I get nothing but compliments when I wear them. They look great dressed up or with trainers and a big chunky sweater.
