Nose stud or ring

If you have a nose piercing, do you tend to wear a stud or a ring? Which one do you prefer? Mine has been done recently and I use a stud but I’ll be able to change it soon and am likely to keep the stud in, but everyone else seems to have rings! Are they really that good?

Try both!

I keep a thin yellow gold nose nail in for everyday wear, as my skin tolerates them better than a stud for some reason. I like the look of bolder studs though, and think they are potentially more interesting than a plain ring. Tiny diamanté types not fashionable atm though.

If you do go for a ring, I would highly recommend nose nails over a proper ring, which I've never been able to get in by myself. You can't tell they aren't the real thing.

I wear both just depends what mood I'm in and what I'm wearing. Get yourself a little pack of mix coloured stones and a couple of hoops. eBay is cheap enough

Rings.

Ring because the studs always seem to fall out or the bar sticks out from the nostril and doesn't look good.

I prefer a ring tbh. Once you get the hang of it they're easy to take in and out

I wear both. A little diamond stud if I need to be more conservative and a close-fitted fine silver ring for a more current and edgier look.

I wear a ring. I used to always wear a stud when I was younger, stopped wearing anything at all in my mid twenties because ds1 used to yank on it a lot, and since I got it re pierced last year I wear a ring all the time. I love it.

Usually a stud for work etc, ring if ive got annual leave or am going out.

I wear a stud - a throw back from work where my boss asked me to as she felt a ring didn’t look as professional . I’m essentially very lazy so have never got round to buying a ring instead...

Tiny heart stud with a bone end, stops them falling out - I’m looking for a very fine sliver ring though.
