Well will they? I like snag tights. But do they just scream bopo instagrammer?
Is it a slippery slope to irregular choice shoes and dresses with kittens on?

I bought some maroon opaque tights in Sainsbury's tonight and I'm regretting it already. They didn't have 80 denier black in my size and I panicked.

I love them, the brighter the better for me. I wear them with my ever so tasteful various bright docs and yes, look like I got dressed in the dark most days.

I quite like the image of teaching art at gnome school😳 I certainly have never gone for or had any chance of looking sleek and sexy so go with what I like and is comfortable, it's very freeing not to care.

I always recommend that people go for the smaller size if they are on the cusp, they are very stretchy and forgiving. If you’re around 5’10” or over then you might need to go for the larger of two possible sizes for extra leg length.

OP I wear my bright pink snag tights with black vans and a black day dress. There are probably better ways to style them up but I'm boring.
I'm not plus size and don't wear cats eye glasses or irregular choice shoes but still probably more gnome teacher than sexy puma and I'm cool with that.

I've been thinking of getting some but I wouldn't wear them with that retro-burlesque style, I'd wear them with earthy coloured knitwear and short corduroy or wool skirts and chunky boots. I fancy the mustard yellow and the turquoise most.

I'd love to get some but I have a weird thing about material and struggle with tights, does anyone find them at all itchy?

Nope, not itchy at all. I was incredibly sensitive to itchy tights after I had DD1 and these don't make me uncomfortable at all.

I'm a size 18 and they genuinely make wearing tights a joy. I only have black ones though!

I used to wear crazy coloured tights when I was a teenager, so they remind me of that tragic time, though I'm going to get a black pair eventually just to see if they really are better than my Primark opaques.

I won't let go of maroon/burgundy tights though. I wear them with a black dress/shoes combo to work.

I have some. They are fab. Perfect fit. I only wear the black ones though.

I want teaching art at gnome school style. Once you don't have to pretend to be cool or even to want to be cool it's so freeing. I don't dare dress in all Gudrun Sjoden yet but I secretly want to (and I'm not a lissom Swedish woman otherwise I could anyway obvs)

I've been seeing them in France for years, they seem to be worn with the rest of the outfit quite plain - e.g fuchsia or mustard tights with a classic trenchcoat.
