Dry skin and primer/foundation

What's your recommendations for primer/foundation for dry skin?

My skin has gone so dry in the last couple of weeks, making my pores so visible 😰

I'm after a new primer/foybdation, something that is easy to pick up from Boots/Superdrug.

I’d begin exfoliating once or twice a week and use a good moisturiser before bed and in the morning this will tackle it at a skin level.

L’Oréal true match foundation has hyaluronic acid in which is good for the skin to retain moisture.

It’s brilliant, it’s not specifically a primer it has lots of uses. You maybe able to pick it up in boots too. I used it after a recommendation from my friend who is a make up artist and she said it’s a staple in her kit and nothing can replace it.
