Supergra- true to size?

I usually wear Converse but thinking of smartening up a bit for Autumn and I like the look of leather Supergra trainers. Just wondering if anyone knows what their sizing is like? I’m usually a size seven in most things but I wear a size 6 in Converse. Is this likely to be the case for the Supergra does anyone know?

Look at the size guide as they differ a bit from normal conversions. My Superga are a UK 6, but this is an EU 39.5 so the sizing is slightly different as a 6 is usually a 39. I love them, they are very comfy.

I am normally a 6.5 and wear a 6 in Vans and a 6.5 in Adidas if that helps.

They are quite roomy.

I found a 5 a little too big for my size 5 feet. Converse 5 fit perfectly

I'm the same as you, often 7 but I take 6 in superga.

I find they come up big

Superga are really annoyingly sized. A five is a 38, but a six is a 39.5. Way too much difference between sizes.

Personally I also found them too hard and too wide. Your mileage may vary though.

They’re wide and I find the soles a bit too inflexible to be comfy.

I felt like I clomped about clawing my toes in them.

If in doubt size down

Superga size in line with old UK sizes. So for example a 40 in most shoes is sold as a 7 but actually a real 7 is more of a 40.5 or even slightly bigger (theirs are 40 2/3). That's why their shoes come up large. And that's why I love them, because my feet are a 'proper' 7.

They are wide though.

I'm a size 6.5-7 and size 39.5 fits perfectly. Mine are suede and I love them, leather insoles, bit of arch support and two years old and still going strong.

I ordered some of their white leather flatforms recently and found the sizing odd. The first pair I ordered were far too big in my usual size, but the size down pinched my toes. I'm still trying to find the perfect flatforms that fits a wide foot but with a narrow heel.

I'm an 8 and find them true to size

I agree with Jumbojem above - i am a 6.5/7 and wear a 39.5 in Superga. I love them and have multiple pairs. I find them very comfortable and more supportive than converse. Incidentally i wear a 6 in Converse too.

Thanks all, I will order some and see how I get on. Might order from Next and then I can return to the store without the faff of posting back shoe boxes. I also have wide feet as these might be good for me!

All these people saying they are wide and i found the opposite! i had a huge blister on my little toe due to rubbing.

I do find i have a small gap round the ankle (and i do not have slim ankles at all) so id maybe size down if width isnt an issue.

In my experience they are slightly on the bigger side, I would size down by 0.5/1 size

They are on the wider side. I lace them tightly and also opt for the slim sole version (2950) as I find the normal version (2750) too clumpy for me.
