Hi, I've never been great at winter dressing. I'm petite - ish. Fairly slim and toned hourglass size 10/12, 5ft 1.
I've always tended towards casual dressing, and now I'm at home all day/ wfh rather than go out to toddler groups I've lapsed. On the school run today I realised I was wearing faded skinny jeans, OK black trainers and an old puffa jacket. Other Mums in lovely chunky jumpers and boots. How do I smarten up a bit without sacrificing comfort?
I've traditionally avoided oversize jumpers as they tend to swamp me, but maybe I need a nice jumper? I have a few fitted ones and a Fat Face Fairisle one. I have a typical navy Mum padded long coat which will see me through another winter and is quite fitted and flattering. I like scarves ...
As I have bunions' wide feet you'll never find me in heeled boots, but I have nice brown and black biker boots.
I've worn skinny jeans for the last few years but maybe I should branch out?
Low budget as v low income coming into house at the moment and I don't need any workwear, as just the odd Zoom call and school run, but I think I need an injection of stylish A/W essentials - please help!
