What colour tights? Please help me vary black opaque

Hi

I'm planning to wear more skirts and dresses this winter, with thick tights and boots.

I've always relied on black opaques and shied away from colours apart from the odd grey maybe.

What should I look for? Black doesn't go with everything.. I'm too old for bright colours (IMO, you don't have to agree)

Please share your gems of wisdom 😊

I’m not mad keen on coloured tights so for me it’s:
Black, dark grey, nude. If I wore autumn colours i’d entertain brown.
If my legs were better I’d wear textured tights, for example a knitted look but I really don’t need to draw attention to my legs!

Navy and burgundy are useful as long as they are properly opaque. I also have several pairs of grey/black patterned tights which are a bit more interesting without living dangerously.
