A 'how many do you own' question

How many pairs of jeans do you own and similarly how many coats or jackets do you have and do you wear them all or are you like me and can't bear to part with them for some unknown reason ( probably coat separation anxiety )

About ten pairs of jeans, more if you include waxed jeans. Lots are in a box waiting for hipster bootcuts to come back in!!

Many, many coats- 15 ish -but loads are very old or vintage. I obviously haven't done Marie Kondo!!!

I have one black pair of jeans and one blue pair. Then I have one raincoat, one wool-style (but actually synthetic) winter coat, one denim jacket and one blazer/suit jacket. I don’t wear the latter two jackets very much but feel like I “should” own them. I only have 6 pairs of shoes as well 😜

4 pairs of jeans 3 black one blue. I usually wear leggings kicking about though.

I have one nice coat but in the market for another and about 7 jackets such as my leather jacket, denim jacket, fake fur jacket and such.

4-5 pairs of jeans, rotate them, don't go anywhere now so general wfh and dog walking.

Puffa style short coat - wear this most. Red duffle wool one, Barbour - gone off it, dog walking coat, mac, long wool coat, long fake fur coat with a hood , its fab -when we used to go out to nice places. light grey casual jacket - unworn - had it 4 years.
I did move 3 onto the charity shop and have another ready to go. Not had a new coat in last 12 months.

I have loads of pairs of jeans. I've got some high end JBrand, Paige and Tibi, some midrange Gap and JCrew and some cheap Old Navy too. The Paige and the JCrew get there most wear.

I've got loads of coats . Honestly I have a bit of a coat addiction, but I'm also really sensitive to cold, so I have them in every weight possible.

Jeans:

Whistles barrel legs x 3, light blue, indigo, black
Levi 501s x 2, both black
Monki straight leg crops
Levi balloon legs x 3, light blue, mid-blue, black

I've bought a couple of those since March because I am working from home. I feel sorry for my work clothes.

Coats:

Too many to list, but my "coat-robe" has the following in it:

Denim jackets
Faux fur jackets, and faux fur coats
Smart wool coat which I don't expect to wear at all this year now
Leather biker jacket
Faux shearling Del-Boy type coat
Long duster raincoat
Parka

I tend to buy a coat every year or so. Fortunately we have a big coat cupboard.

I have raw denim Hiut jeans, COS wide-legs, two pairs of black denim jeans (501 and Annette Gortz) plus olive work jeans and a faded denim pair that are too worn for anything but gardening yet so comfortable I keep them. Other trousers are not, technically, jeans because not made of denim... but I have a fair few.

Coats, too many to reveal the actual number, but some date back to the 1950s, so they are heritage items.

About 10 pairs of jeans, but I love jeans and regularly wear most of them.
Good wool coat, parka, raincoat, old anorak for walking the dog, smart khaki jacket.
I need one more nice casual jacketr, I'm keeping a look out for a nice one for my Christmas present. I'm not going many places atm so it's not an urgent need.
People talking about sheepskin is making me missing the amazingly warm secondhand skeepskin coat I had when I was a student.

2 pairs of jeans that fit properly (dark grey straight leg and pale wash wide-legged)
2 pairs that are a bit tight and only fit at certain times of the month (light blue Mom jeans, wide-legged crop)
2 that are ridiculously tight (black wide legged cropped jeans, and a brand new pair of blue straight leg Zara jeans that I should have sent back and didn’t. I’m hoping to slim into them).
2 pairs dungarees, one black, one blue.

I think I have about 35 pairs of jeans. They don’t all fit me at the same time though. I probably have six pairs that I can fit into right now.

I'm like you OP can't bare to part with coats and jackets unless they have holes/tattered which most aren't due to me having too many!
Jeans I have about 20 half when I lost weight I bought that clearly don't fit but I'm thinking 'oh if I lose weight etc' it's ridiculous seriously need to do a clear out too it's hard!!!

I probably have 6 pairs, in various sizes and styles although I only ever wear one of them so should bin the rest.

I have nearly 70 dresses though. I hate my thighs and dresses hide them so I almost always wear dresses

Five pairs of jeans - 3 blue (1 is v old), 1 black, 1 green
Four coats - 2 winter, 2 summer

Jeans - two. Jackets, I had to go count - thirty, Coats - seven, including in orange, yellow, bright blue, fake persian lamb, fake fur. Not justifying this, but have a favourite collarless style and like a denim jacket, so have a variety of colours, shades and textures, in jackets and coats. Also have a waterproof (well two actually) in the car, one yellow and one red. Oldest jacket, is a sheepskin flying jacket (coming up for 37 years old) and I still wear it, from M&S when they really knew how to produce quality clothing.

I have 2 pairs of jeans that fit and about 6 pairs that are too small. Usuallu I would have around 5 to 6 but I've injured myself and put on loads of weight so the ones that fit are a temporary measure (hopefully!) Loads of coats and jackets. At a guess I would say I probably have about 15.

Maybe ten pairs of jeans? Not sure. Various different colours and styles but don’t wear them loads, so not that interested in them.

Coats and jackets I have a wardrobe full.
Everything from Gap denim and all saints leather jackets to full length wool Gucci and McQueen.

My love for coats comes only second to my love for handbags

Jeans, none can never find any to fit. Coats on the other hand. Red canvas denim jacket style, waterproof from, mountain warehouse, Barbour mac, red Mac from M&S,red pea coat from Country Casuals and finally a black furry bomber jacket. I do seem to have a few red coats.

2x blue jeans, but one pair are too big and I might get rid of them

2x black jeans (full-length and capri length)

2x white jeans (normal and extra wide)

1x yellow jeans

1x black and white checked jeans

1x toffee brown jeans

1x dark green jeans

I can't tell you how many coats and jackets - they are scattered all over the place including at my dad's house in another part of the country - but I should think it's at least 15 including boring practical things like waterproofs.
