Any Makeup Revolution recommendations?

I usually buy high-end makeup as I feel like it's cheaper to buy one good product you know you'll love than lots of little products. However I have been browsing the Revolution website and am tempted to place an order. The only makeup product I have tried from there is the XX concealer and I love it a lot more than the Too Faced one I was using previously.

What are your favourite Makeup Revolution buys?

Thank you

I too am interested. I know nothing about Revolution but my teen daughter has asked for some for Christmas so I need some help!

I had a Revolution loose powder from Superdrug not long ago, it was really good but when I went to buy another they had changed all the range. I would buy another loose powder from them though.
I had a Revolution eye shadow palette that everyone seemed to rave about online and I didn't think it was anything special. I prefer the cheaper MUA eye shadow palettes.
I also have a Revolution matte setting spray that makes no difference whatsoever.
Their lipsticks are nice but aren't very long wearing.
Sorry if that's more negative than helpful!

Second keepingbees the lipsticks are nice but not long lasting
Icon is supposedly a dupe for Pillow Talk

Those hearts highlighters.
I'm using 'Goddess of Faith' and it's amazing.
Much better than more expensive powder highlighters.

i love the foundations. especially the stick one. amazing full coverage and not heavy on the skin. the eyeshadow palettes are always amazing quality with great payoff. superdrug normally have the massive palettes at christmas where you get 100 eyeshadows for £20. i buy them every year.

I'm a bobbi brown and clinique foundation freak but have just bought the revolution conceal and glow foundation and its absolutely amazing..have recommended to several friends. Have now also bought the conceal and hydrate concealer and a matte lip pencil and lip gloss and am pleased with all of it.

Many! The brushes; the pro longwear foundation; the conceal and define foundation: eyeshadow palettes; setting spray

Bananaman123 · 24/09/2020 21:43

im going off them a bit as the quality doesnt seem to be as good as it used to be, or maybe im just using more higher end products and prefed them. The conceal and define foundation and concealer are good, the xx one was far too heavy and looked like paint on my face. The eyeshadows in tins are good, Roxi and Soph ones but the cheaper ones not so much. Superdrug often have deals on

hopefulness · 24/09/2020 21:56

Thank you all for the recommendations so far! I will definitely be trying the conceal and define foundation after three of you mentioned it!

Thé Renaissance eyeliners brown and black). Searched for ages after my beloved UD Razor one was discontinued. Good precision and lasts well.

The mattifying primer with salicylic acid in- it's hit and miss as to which foundations it works with, but when it works it really works.

Mellonsprite · 25/09/2020 10:36

I have several eyeshadow pallets, they are great. Concealer is very good, foundation is heavy but I use when i get roseacea flare ups. The eye brow pencil is excellent. I wouldn’t bother again with the nail polish.
