Does anyone here buy clothes and / or shoes on Amazon?

My Facebook feed has started showing me ads about clothes and shoes on Amazon. Some of the stuff doesn't look too bad and they do stock some known brands. So I was wondering if anyone here buys clothes or shoes on Amazon and, if so, whether you'd recommend some pieces/brands/stores. TY

I've bought loads over the years, best bargain were my Emu boots paid about a third of the retail price just because they had the old style branding on them. They're my go to for Birkenstock as they usually change discontinued colours cheap. A lot of the clothing now is full retail price.

I’ve bought branded stuff for the eldest and dp, so stuff like Adidas/Nike/superdry/north face etc. And have all been fine. I tend to just search by the item/size/brand I want and go from there.

I’ve bought unknown brands before and ended up with some really good bits and some bits which are clearly from Asia (so very small sizes, often not well made etc). But seeing as amazon have a decent return policy I tend to return it if I don’t like the quality.

Ultimately amazon is just advertising the items, so similar to eBay can be very hit and miss.

I have found some boots I really like and most of the reviews are good. So I might order them and see what they are like IRL.

I've bought Campers at hugely reduces prices. No clothes though

Amazon sells such an enormous range of clothes and footwear that it's hard to recommend or not without knowing what you're looking for.

Good point. But I was hoping that if you had bought something that you absolutely love and was a bargain, I might like it too ;-)

I buy branded stuff, new look, Dorothy perkins, trespass, clarks, Nike etc.

I generally try and avoid Amazon if I can and buy direct from smaller sellers. Not always. Depends what I'm looking for.

I buy fit-flop sandals from amazon as they're often about a tenner cheaper than on the fit flop site. But then i know what my size is and it's one particular style.

I buy loads of clothes. Most are great, some are shite

Always read the bad reviews and believe them.

I bought linen trousers for my holiday, very cheap but excellent quality and cut.

I Buy branded stuff usually footwear Often smaller sellers offer great discounts with end of line stock.
I've never been brave enough to buy the clothing with the brand xception of some summer cardigans. It would be great to see recommendations?

I find it great for sports bras but I haven't bought much branded wear as I find you can get the same thing cheaper instore or direct from the brand.

My DH however buys all his casual wear on it and is very positive.

I bought some leggings there on the basis that it was worth seeing if £17 Amazon leggings were good before shelling out £80 for Sweaty Betty.

The leggings were actually really good. Bit of a gamble with sizing but nice patterns and decent fabric.

Be warned though - you can’t rely on reviews. I got a card with my leggings saying that if I left a review they would give me a free pair, so the review system is rigged.

I bought 3 dresses and they are gorgeous, flattering and a lovely material

Like pp I have bought branded clothes and shoes at good discounts. Have only tried brands that I know though
