Every day I am dressing for the same thing: my desk. The variable being ‘maybe a Teams meeting with video on’.

I know it’s vacuous but I am missing dressing for events. Travel, drinks, important meetings - some variety really. I am not even dressing for the weather, just adding sandals or wellies. Gah.

I love clothes. This is so uninspiring. Anyone finding the same?

I'm finding I miss getting dressed to work in an office. I like looking smart. It sounds daft but it was part of my professional "mask" if you know what I mean.

On a positive note I don't need anymore clothes for the next six months apart from a winter coat and perhaps a pair of jeans. I can save money and put it towards a break away after the Covid 19 situation.

I still put makeup on every work day (working from home) but there tends to be more of a blur between weekend clothes and work clothes now. Although l tend to live in dresses anyway. During the warm weather knickers became very much an optional extra.

In the “normal world”, (remember that?) l travel a lot for work and miss dressing for meetings and evenings out. I even miss packing the case.

Yes, OP. I look sadly at my posh shoes and lovely going out clothes, most of which have remained untouched this year. I sometimes think, maybe I should wear them around the house but it’s not the same, is it?

I’m still at work in the office, but we are not currently having appointments with the public, so we are on permanent dress down Friday. I walk to work, so used to wear trainers and change them when I got to the office - so would wear variety of trousers, dresses, skirts and tights in the colder months. Now there is no point in changing my trainers when I get to the office I just keep wearing jeans and I am sooooooo bored of this!
And I don’t have any enthusiasm to buy anything new (as I don’t need anything cos all I’m wearing is blinking jeans!).
