Not acrylic or anything else nasty and itchy but I'm looking for a lovely wool cardi.

Ideally like the Wyse Angela or Fran in stripes but not with the price tag!

Possible??!

Any ideas? Thank you!!

Mango?

I'm sure I've seen a couple on John Lewis. If not 100% wool then a wool cotton mix. I'm after the same sort of thing, having decided to only buy tops in natural fibres now. Acrylic I've found holds onto any sweaty smells it gets Blush

I was looking for the same thing. Have some nice plain wool cardigans from Other Stories and Arket but wanted a Wyse style one that’s more wool/natural fabrics.
Hush have a rainbow cardigan but again not all wool.

Woolovers are a good start for actual wool/silk/cotton. Some is very er "classic" but eg this?

Don't forget to check men's ranges too.
All Saints have some great knitwear.

Celtic and Co.
A bit pricey, but worth it. My jumpers have lasted years. And they're 100% wool but soft, never itchy. Woolovers is great too (more affordable) but Celtic and Co is more stylish.

TheVanguardSix · 24/09/2020 11:10

Just to add: My one qualm with Celtic and Co is their price hike! The jumpers, a couple of years ago, were £15-£20 less. This year, they've gone way up. But if money's no object, they're worth it.

You'll get the same quality from Woolovers. A bit less stylish but still, great, warm, comfortable jumpers/cardis.

Oh and Seasalt! Actually, Seasalt is the best bet. The price is right for 100% wool jumpers, plus they have really great styles and they're wonderful to wear. I have a couple.
