I'm rapidly approaching 48 and while I'm still doing ok on the lines and wrinkles front I probably need to give me skin care routine a boost, I currently use No7 Lift and Luminate range, including a serum, glycolic pad and I've recently added the new No7 retinol.

Looking on YouTube at the beauty bloggers there's a huge range of brands and the advice on acids and other actives is mind blowing. If I swap brands I'll probably do the same again and buy all my products from one brand, it's just easier.

Am I a dinosaur? Does everyone else have a huge range of products from different brands? YouTube bloggers seem to have a dozen different serums and acids they use on endlessly alternating nights. Is this the norm now?

Most of what I use is by one brand SkinCeuticals. I only use few products from elsewhere, makeup remover , cleanser, eye cream are each from an individual brands,

I used to be a bit of skin product junkie, but I find my skin is actually happier when I use less. I predominately use some of gentler products from The Ordinary range (a Vitamin A at night and a Vitamin C in the morning), The White Company's cleanser (which is made by The Ordinary anyway), and a La Roche Posay SPF50 instead of a moisturiser. I only use the La Roche Posay rather than sticking with The Ordinary is its so flipping good! But its so personal, if what you're doing is working for you then stick with it!:)

If I'm trying a new regime, I tend to buy all the products in the range and swap them as necessary.

At the moment, I'm using a body shop cleanser, lush toner, acids and serums from The Ordinary/Hyalamide.
