Seasalt coats - size down or not?

I'm looking at the plant hunter, possibly the Janelle. Does anyone have one of these coats?

Usually I'm a 12 in coats (and have a big bust) but some of the reviews suggest they were 'swamped' in their usual size. Don't want it tight/fitted though, as may wear a jumper underneath...

no advice but I am about to order the plant hunter and wonder the same...

The are TTS, don't size down, especially if you have a big bust.

I have a size 12 in the Three Seasons (not sure they do that now) and am 40 inches both bust and hips, and it has just the right amount of room with a normal jumper. It might be a bit close with a really chunky, Aran one, but it seldom gets cold enough for that in the Midlands!

I wore this coat when I was a stone and a half bigger than I am now, and it was a bit snug on the bust, but still fine.

Thanks all - think I’ll stick with the 12. Fingers crossed!

I think it’s all about the bust. I’m a 12-14, 34F, I have the plant hunter in a 14. 12 was too small in bust if wearing with a thick jumper. I have the drawstring quite pulled in.
