Morning!

Has anyone used the above product? What are your thoughts on it?

I’m considering giving it a go as it’s an ‘all in one’ (particularly the fact that it’s factor 50). However, I am prone to hormonal spots from time to time and can’t seem to find out if it’s non comedogenic. It’s pricey so it could be an expensive mistake! I would say I have combination skin- can be oily around nose/chin but dry on the cheeks.

Thanks in advance!

Hope you like it OP but I was disappointed. I do think it's clever vanity marketing to pose it as a CC cream- it may have SPF but it's got more coverage than most foundations I've tried. I didn't hate it but it is gloopy and verges on greasy, it is also fragranced so not ideal for those with sensitive skin and i'm fairly sure it did cause breakouts on me. I forced myself to use it up for a while then drew a line and binned it.

The palest shade is also very yellow and oxidises to boot. It blends out well enough i suppose but just didn't really do anything for me and I didn't like how smeary and uncomfortable it was. For the price I don't it's rubbish really, I'd rather just put a foundation that actually works over an SPF.

It's full coverage. I also have oily skin and prefer the matte version. The regular one is too shiny on me. I sometimes mix it with (oilfree) moisturiser for lighter coverage.

mrsjg · 26/09/2020 06:12

It's not for me. I got colour matched in Boots. In order for the product to address the broken veins on my cheeks, the CA used quite a lot on me. I looked embalmed when she finished. The smell of the product is off putting too. It's a shame as it sounded like it would be perfect for me.

noodlezoodle · 26/09/2020 06:39

I tried it and hated it - it was too thick and really hard to blend. Have gone for the Erborian CC cream instead which is much easier to work with and I really like it.

I still have to whack on a bit of moisturiser first, but I am half woman, half rusk so that's not really unusual for me.

Orangeinmybluelightcup · 02/04/2021 15:59

@RD15 did you try it in the end? I've been eyeing it up as I've read it'll cover my mild hyperpigmentation melasma. But I don't ever wear make up so I don't want to go full face. Not sure what to do...

Orangeinmybluelightcup · 02/04/2021 16:01

Also worried if they'll be too pink on me, I have yellow undertones.

RD15 · 02/04/2021 16:02

@Orangeinmybluelightcup I did! I bought the travel size to trial. I have to say, I didn’t really like it. I found it quite tacky and it felt heavy on my skin. I’m back on no7 hydraluminous and I love it xx

Ps- I also have yellow undertones.

Oh thanks, that doesn't sound brill - ho hum back to the drawing board!

Vierty · 02/04/2021 16:27

Absolutely love it. I’ve used it for a few years now and wouldn’t try anything else

justanotherneighinparadise · 02/04/2021 16:34

I’ve just ordered it and then saw this thread. I hope I like it when it comes.

Orangeinmybluelightcup · 02/04/2021 17:23

@justanotherneighinparadise (good name) if it's Amazing would you do me a favour and come back to say so!

stevematekatemate · 02/04/2021 17:53

Didn’t work for me. I ordered from QVC. Full refund thankfully.

JoanDarc · 02/04/2021 18:28

I use the illuminating one and really like it. Great coverage, I’m neutral verging on yellow toned pale skin and find the shade match quite good. (I use light, but normally have a light self tan on) I always use a separate spf. I’ve also just purchased the beauty pie tinted moisturiser which is lighter and a more sheer coverage, is good value if you’re already a member.

Of course! 😍
pigglepot · 02/04/2021 20:46

I use it and I love it. On about my fifth tube now. It's really easy to apply and gives decent coverage but doesnt cake like a foundation

DIshedUp · 02/04/2021 20:49

I liked how it looked on my skin but it brings me massively out in spots. Its definitely not non comodegenic.

Currently using estee lauder futurist hydration which gives the same dewy healthy look but without the spots, and surprisingly less heavy considering one is a foundation one a cc cream

Itsabeautifuldaytosavelives123 · 02/04/2021 20:54

I found it very shiney, I'd try matt next time, good light coverage though

MissKeithsNeice · 02/04/2021 20:57

Its not for me. Felt a bit claggy.

I love their bye bye under eye and tight line mascara though.

justanotherneighinparadise · 08/04/2021 13:39

Okay. Received this yesterday. Have it on for the first time today. I love it! I got the light although I think the fair might be better for winter. So next time I think I’ll get fair. Anyway there’s nothing notvto like from my point of view!

Orangeinmybluelightcup · 08/04/2021 21:02

Oh really!!! Hmm 🤔

Orangeinmybluelightcup · 08/04/2021 21:03

As in, interesting! Not sarcasm!!!

justanotherneighinparadise · 08/04/2021 22:12

I got mine from eBay so didn’t spend a crazy amount. My advice would be to try and really small amount first. A sample size or the smallest size available.

Darklane · 08/04/2021 22:50

I found it too heavy & the palest shade still not light enough & too yellow.
BUT if you want to try it, QVC sell it & you have 60 days to try it, use it & send it back for a refund if you don’t like it.

pigglepot · 09/04/2021 07:17

I'm so surprised there are so many negative reviews for it. It's the only thing I use on my skin now I think it's amazing! Seems like I've been lucky
