Does clear matt shoe polish exist?! And if so, where do I find it?

I want to polish my boots to waterproof them, but don’t want them really shiny! Looking for clear or tan matt shoe polish, and I can only find shoe polish that says it makes shoes shiny!

I like this dubbin it will go shiney if you polish the boots with a brush but if you just rub it in with a cloth it stays pretty matte.

You can get cream (rather than polish) for use on matte leather to avoid the shiny look. It conditions the leather but I’m not sure about waterproofing qualities

Thank you for the replies. @homemadecommunistrussia I will try that dubbin - thank you! I tripped on a piece of rusty metal on the ground and got some large scratches on my almost new boots, and the scratched area is now not properly waterproof, so hopefully this will help!
