Find me some short wellies, please!

I'm looking for some short wellie boots but think I'm a lost cause.
I'm looking for:
-a short, ankle boot because I have huge calves
-at least a size 9 and accommodating of a wide foot (though I seem to manage the notoriously narrow Converse trainers!)
-a jazzy colour or print

I've just tried some beautiful size 9, shiny red, short Hunters and whilst I think the shoe itself would have fit, I could not get my foot all the way in through the opening to find out.

That or any recommendations for a decent, weatherproof but fashionable shoe to wear on walks this autumn / winter?

Amazing! I honestly thought Joules only went up to a size 8! The size 9 life gets a bit much sometimes!

Ilse Jacobsen make Chelsea boot wellies that are nice, but I've not hoisted in their availability in size 9, although as many Scandianian folk are tall, it may be within the range.

Short Hunters would be perfect.

I'm really pleased with my Rockfish wellies, they don't do prints but they have lasted well.

Mountain Warehouse? Although I'm not sure what size they go up to... I'm only a 3!

I may investigate Joules next time though.

I've got Joules ones and I'd never even noticed that, so it hasn't affected me at all. I need to check tomorrow if they do have that!

To be fair, I don't wear them much, I keep them in the car 'just in case'.

Didriksen or FitFlop, both do nice looking short wellies in a range of colours

Fat calves and wide feet here too. I can recommend Jileon wellies - they do all sorts. I have the ankle ones and love them!

I have a pair I love. Got them reduced in a garden centre and I can't remember the brand. I'll check in the morning.

Most of my footwear is emblazoned with something or other...hence the desire for a colourful wellie!

Thanks all! Some brands I hadn't considered or heard of, so I'm sure I'll find something now! Joules and Jileon in particular look promising!

Arctic weekend Muck Boots are fantastic, and they come in size 9. They are expensive but last for years and years, and as thry are neoprene they are so much more comfortable than normal wellies, I can walk miles in mine.
