Stylish trainers for fat ankles and calves

I’ve stuck to dark stretchy skinny jeans and dark boots for a long time because it appears to me to streamline my very stumpy lower legs.
My daughter wants me to be more with it, so we went to And other Stories. She picked me out some straight jeans. I rolled them up, and they looked surprisingly nice, especially with wedge sandals.
I want to be a person round town with my rolled up straight jeans and stylish trainers but every pair I put on make me look like a clown. I think for me, they shouldn’t have a rounded toe (except they all have). I want something black or white.
Any advice gratefully received.

I think maybe you need something that comes a bit higher up iyswim
I am also chunky of ankle & think more of a hi top trainer is better

I have chunky ankles and for reasons I can’t explain I find Superga suit me way more than Stan smiths or converse. I also love my airforce ones but they are a much clumpier trainer and not everyone’s cup of tea.
In terms of a pointy toe, I saw an advert for a Beyoncé redesign of Adidas superstars that has an almond toe. It’s... interesting

I have these Hush trainers which I love:

And I see they are now doing high tops too as a previous poster suggested.

Can you link to the jeans you got?
