How would you style this dress for the winter?

I bought this today in the Warehouse sale. I'd love some tips on how to style it for the autumn/winter? Could I put a long sleeve top underneath? Ankle boots or knee high boots? I'm clueless!

I would wear a long sleeve tee or polo neck, with knee high boots.

Or maybe a shirt underneath if you can get the collar to sit right.

You could always put a jumper over the top too so you can have a denim skirt

I think it would go with mustard or plum coloured tights too. I agree with PP above, I'd put a polo neck under it, but I'd wear it with ankle boots as I can't do knee highs !

Glad to hear I can do a long sleeve t-shirt underneath, and boots! Not a polo neck though, I have a phobia of them (feel a bit sick just typing it!!)
