Has Black Orchid been reformulated?

I used to adore this fragrance back in about 2007/8 but haven’t really used it since.

I picked up a free sample the other day and used it last night. At first it smelt the same but about an hour later I was getting an almost fruity smell which I didn’t recognise.

Fast forward about four hours and not only could I not detect it at all, but I couldn’t smell it on my top this morning either! Yet this fragrance used to last and last!

Has it been changed??

Is this the Tom Ford black orchid? Please don’t tell me that, it’s the only perfume I use and I’m running low 🙁

God I hope not. It's my DH fave and I wear it also when he is if we are out together
