This looks like a thermal top i once had , to me , underwear . Would you wear this as just a normal top ?

To be honest I probably wouldn’t wear it at all. It looks very thin.

ApolloandDaphne · 19/09/2020 17:28

My DD2 walked past when I was looking at that top and said 'nice top mum'. She is 22 if that helps in any way.

dementedpixie · 19/09/2020 17:32

Looks like it should be nightwear

ChaChaCha2012 · 19/09/2020 17:36

I wear thermals as normal tops, but black so they do just look like a normal fitted top.

You'd need to be 22 to carry that off as fashion.

ouch321 · 19/09/2020 17:46

It's pretty but v low neckline so might be a tad chilly

Iamagree · 19/09/2020 18:17

Looks like Damart...

Palavah · 19/09/2020 18:21

With jeans, with dungarees, with a bias-cut skirt..

Miseryisabutterfly · 19/09/2020 18:22

I think it’s lovely and would wear it (36, if that matters).

SleepingInYourFlowerbed · 19/09/2020 18:26

It's lovely. I'd wear that and I'm late 30s. Tempted to buy it!

SpeedofaSloth · 19/09/2020 18:27

Thermals.

chunkyrun · 19/09/2020 18:30

Under dungarees
Jeans and a blazer

RogueV · 19/09/2020 18:33

Looks like nightwear

little0miss0mac · 19/09/2020 18:33

@Iamagree

Looks like Damart...
Exactly what I was going to say. We lived in Damart growing up in Scotland. Mmmm crackly static 😆
LaurieFairyCake · 19/09/2020 18:39

I have a blue one of those by Brora

It's underwear or nightwear - or at a pinch with a thick cardie over that you don't take off

Shantotto · 19/09/2020 18:44

It’s outerwear designed to look like underwear - I remember wearing little pointelle vests with lace trim and straps as normal tops but I was about 19!

tinkywinkyshandbag · 19/09/2020 18:45

My 6 foot skinny gorgeous DD would wear it as it is. I would look like my Nan if I wore it.

Mamette · 19/09/2020 18:49

I like it in the other colour.

Lily193 · 19/09/2020 19:03

A normal top. Quality doesn't look great so would probably layer with a camisole/vest top.

Tolleshunt · 19/09/2020 19:12

I had something very similar from Jigsaw in the late 90s that I wore as a top under a cardigan or shrug. I’d wear it as a top, bur it wouldn’t be warm enough by itself in the winter and don’t know what is ok to put on top now, style-wise....

Ellapaella · 19/09/2020 19:17

I love the floral one. I think it looks lovely as styled - tucked into high waisted jeans. Also agree it would be great under dungarees.

MikeUniformMike · 19/09/2020 19:36

The floral one is ok but I think my gran used to wear the other ones.
Thermal granny underwear.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 19/09/2020 20:16

I'm having flashbacks to early 90s Jigsaw.

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 19/09/2020 20:25

😬😬😬 reminds me of my granny.

tornadoalley · 19/09/2020 21:03

My grandma wore vests just like that

lazylockdowner · 19/09/2020 22:06

I love the floral one and would definitely wear it.. I'm 40. Agree the white one looks like a vest
