decent zero waste suncream?

I was trying to stop using plastic bottles and tubes and when looking for a zero waste suncream found Shade suncream in a tin. Plus points, my boys don't complain about putting it on, but using it myself, I am not convinced. It makes my face really hot and then seems to melt off. Absolutely no point if I am going for a run, and just in general, after using it this summer my forearms are full of big freckles as if they have had no protection at all. I have been a factor 50 kind of girl for years now and this factor 25 isn't cutting it. If you use it on a hot sunny day it just slides off! Has anyone used anything zero waste that it any good?

Not zero waste, but reasonably eco I think - I use Ren facial sunscreen.

Super hard with sunscreen I think. I switched to spray cans - the metal is easily recyclable and the product doesn't stick to metal like it does to plastic. I can't remember where I read about this as being a good option .... I'll look see.
