Beautiful, stoic, extremely resilient DD has had tears tonight over a boy at school repeatedly pointing out her spots Angry .

She has a greasy forehead and a lot of little spots but no big spots. She has an oatmeal scrub that she uses once or twice a week and I've been reluctant to get her anything else for fear of making it worse.

But if it's upsetting her I'll do/buy anything.

Any advice for anything we can do or try gratefully received.

My teenager uses Avene Cleanance cleanser gel and the comodone liquid and she has noticed a huge improvement in her skin.
It's very gentle and yet really works.

My DD was exactly the same when she was the same age and after trying out quite a few products we found this Cera Ve facewash www.lookfantastic.com/cerave-foaming-facial-cleanser-473ml/11798697.html?affil=thggpsad&switchcurrency=GBP&shippingcountry=GB&thg_ppc_campaign=71700000026979856&adtype=pla&product_id=11798697&gclsrc=ds&gclsrc=ds and the Roche Posay products someone else mentioned further up the thread and they really helped and her skin is much, much better there (still gets a bit spotty when her period is due)

@EloiseTheFirst

My 11yo watches Skin by Hyram on YouTube. He has lots of tips to help spot prone skin. My DD has learned a lot about skincare by watching the tutorials and her skin is now lovely.
Also this - my DD loves him and also knows which products should be avoided.

I second effaclar duo. It's completely cleared up my 12 year olds sporty forehead.

My DD nearly 15 has a prescription for Duac. It is amazing. So many of her friends say how clear her skin is. I would definitely send a photo to the GP.
