Non pierced ears -which clip on earrings are comfortable

There's some gorgeous styles on eBay and I'm lucky i can tolerate cheap metal (more after an occasional costume look than serious daily jewellery ) . But there's a variety of clips and backings advertised and I can't tell which are going to feel awful after a couple hours

Is there a reason you can't get your ears pierced? I don't think any clip on earrings would be particularly comfy after a couple of hours. However, I know some people use magnetic earrings and say that they're much more comfortable than clip one. Perhaps this is something you could look into?

The discomfort at the actual moment of having your ears pierced is far less than, say, having dinner in clip ons.
