Puffer coat when short - yes or no?

I’m after a warm, stylish, practical winter coat. Doesn’t have to be waterproof but not super smart - something I can wear every day.

I’m 5’3 and an hourglass size 12, wondering about puffer coats but are they just super unflattering for my height/shape? Anyone else found any good winter coats this year?

I have one, similar size and shape to you. It comes to my hips and has a drawcord that nips in at the waist. Looks good. Was from Oasis last year.

Ah thanks, I wondered about a shorter jacket style... keep being tempted towards the walking duvet styles!

Make sure it has a belt or is a waisted style. Also check the size of the "puffs". I find the smaller the puff the better it shows off my waist. The larger puffs make me look like the Michelin Man.

I am 5ft 1, size 10-12, i have 1 from Primark that i love. Knee length. Not belted and i feel good in it.
