Going grey gracefully?

I'm early thirties with brown hair (that naturally gets highlights from the sun) and a fair bit of grey now. Previously (4 years ago or so) I've had lighter caramel balayage but that's grown out now. I like the idea of saying screw it and just going grey naturally BUT I don't know if I have the balls. I could try to blend it in a bit with more balayage or some sort of tint (?) but I don't like cant afford high maintenance and I hate that fake look some coloured hair has.

Has anyone else gone grey youngish and just left it? Or has anyone got any tips for a natural looking way of hiding it?

Also, I'm annoyed about all this because men don't have to worry about it. My male grey friends just look distinguished!

Facebook has great groups called Silver Sisters and Grombre that can support you on your 'silver journey'.

I have gone from brunette at 21 to dyed brunette. At 25 as the weekly dye was too much, so went blonde. Now at 33 I am going silver. I personally do not think is could del with the roots from dark to natural colour but in the groups above people do.

This photo is me now with 5 months growth.

It feels really empowering
